Lifeguard Certification Training! 2018
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training is a course for individuals pursuing certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid.

· The candidate must be at least 15 years of age by the last day of the course.
· Swim 300 yards continuously using freestyle, breaststroke, or combination of the two.
· Submerge to a depth of 7 feet and retrieve a 10 pound object and return to surface.
· Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only.
First Class: Come ready to swim (swim suit or sports shorts & tee shirt—no “cut-offs”).
Bring a towel and dry clothes to change in to. An extra towel and dry shirt are often helpful. Bring lifeguard manual to all sessions (distributed during first session). Wear comfortable clothing when not in the pool.
Materials included are a Lifeguard Manual and whistle with lanyard.
