YMCA Dance Classes 2018-19

 

Enroll early!     

Class size is limited to 20 students per class!

 

Ballet & Jazz Combo Classes:  

*3-year olds & Pre-K:  Mondays, 3:45 p.m. (45 minutes)  Participants must be 3 years old by October 1, 2018.

 

*Kindergarten & 1st Grade:  Mondays, 4:45 p.m. (45 minutes)

 

*2nd— 4th Grades:  Wednesdays, 3:45 p.m. (45 minutes)

 

Annual dues: $240 Y members     $320 non-members

(plus $70 per class nonrefundable costume fee, due by October 23th to the Y front desk)

 

*Students should wear comfortable dance attire and must have pink ballet shoes (available at Payless shoe stores).

 

 Hip Hop Classes:

*1st—4th Grades:  Wednesdays, 4:45 p.m. (45 minutes)

 

Annual dues: $240 Y members     $320 non-members (plus $70 per class nonrefundable costume fee, due by October 23th to the Y front desk)

 

*Students should wear clean athletic shoes and comfortable dance or athletic clothing that allows for easy movement.

 

 

Payment options and general dance information

 

General information:

  • Enrollment is a participation commitment for the 8 months of dance and through the Spring Recital in April 2019.
  • The 3 year old & Pre-K class will be open to parent observation for the first day of class only. All other classes are closed to parents except for “Watch Days”.
  • Two “Watch Days” will be scheduled for all classes throughout the year for parents to observe their child’s progress.
  • Parents must sign and return a commitment contract at the time of registration.

 

 

Payment options:

 

Option 1:  one payment of $240 for Y members or $320 for non-members at registration.

 

Option 2:  two payments of $120 Y members or $160 non-members: one payment at registration and the second payment by January 5, 2019.

 

Option 3:  monthly payments with an automated credit card charge of $30 for Y   members or $40 for non-members:  first payment at registration, remaining monthly payments by automated credit card charge on the 5th of each month.  A one-time nonrefundable convenience fee of $15 must be paid at registration for this option and anytime a change is made.

 

Option 4:  monthly payments with an automated EFT bank draft of $30 for Y members or $40 for non-members:  first payment at registration, remaining monthly payments by automated EFT bank draft on the 5th of each month.  A one-time nonrefundable convenience fee of $15 must be paid at registration for this option and anytime a change is made.

 

 

A $30 cancellation fee will be charged if a participant drops out of the program.

 

 

Registration for all classes begins August 13 until classes are full.   

Classes begin the week of  September 10th.
