Holiday Fitness Class Schedule 2018-2019

Don’t let the focus on your health and fitness goals fade away during the holidays! As our Christmas present to you, we are offering admission to the classes at only $4.00 per class for local Y members! It’s only $6 per class for non-members! We are giving you such a great deal on these classes because we care about your health and well-being. Buy a Holiday Class Pass at the front desk PRIOR to attending your class. Just give your pass to the instructor and you are all set to enjoy your workout! *indicates that Child Watch is free of charge if the child is a member and $2.00 per class if the child is a non-member. BARRE FIGHT: Combining the sculpting of Barre and the power of Kickboxing to provide an action-packed, calorie-torching, muscle-building class. Participants will alternate between the kickboxing bags and the barre format for a total body workout. Held in the mini-gym of the annex under the instruction of Carrie Hall and Sheila Jones. Class is an hour and a half in length to allow for alternating from bags to barre. Child Watch provided.

 

PILATES CORE TRAINING: A combination of Pilates moves along with some yoga techniques designed to develop a strong core. When your core muscles are strong, you have increased torso stability and movement confidence. Exercises will have modifications for every fitness level. Mark McNeal, instructor. Child Watch available. Class is 45 minutes in length.

 

RIDE it OFF!: Looking to burn some major calories…release some frustrations…just feel better? Come ride it off in this complete cardio cycling class choreographed to fun, motivating music!  All fitness levels are encouraged to attend. Bring a towel and a water bottle! Becki Metz, instructor. Child Watch available. Class is 45 minutes in length.

 

YOGA STRONG CORE: Unwind with this stress-reducing class of yoga poses and simple stretches. You will improve your flexibility and strength. Monday and Wednesday classes are held in the CMW auditorium for CMW employees and spouses.  Tuesday and Thursday classes are held in the YMCA mini-gym and are open to anyone. Mark McNeal, instructor. Class is 45 minutes in length.
